Final Digital Dentures are utilized as the patient’s definitive denture and is fabricated after the hard and soft tissues have fully healed. A digital denture refers to a denture that is designed and fabricated using computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D-printing technologies, as opposed to traditional methods such as light-cured urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA) record base and conventional injection molding.
After traditional or digital impressions, the process involves CAD software to create the denture base and teeth set-up. The final product uses digital 3D-printing technology utilizing DENTSPLY Lucitone 199 proprietary denture resin, which demonstrates outstanding flexure strength.
Digital dentures offer several benefits over traditional dentures, including increased precision, a faster and more efficient production process, and the ability to re-print the final design if a patient accidentally breaks their denture. Material is reline-able
